PLANET GREEN TREES 166
September 19, 2013
Tonight- There has been a consistent issue with Child Protective Services in Michigan disregarding the protections created by the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. One of the most recent and egregious examples of this disconnect with the law by CPS, concerns the Green family of Lansing, who had their 6 month old baby Brielle removed from the home because a judge found that the legally protected garden, in the house, creates an unsafe environment for children because it may be the cause of a possible robbery.
Joining us tonight will be the Green’s attorney Joshua Covert of the Nichols Law Firm in Lansing, Charmie Gholson of Michigan Moms United and Steve Green. Steve normally joins us on behalf of the MI chapter of the Human Solution to offer court dates of defendants in need of support, but will join us tonight to discuss how this CPS action has devastated his family.
